Privacy policy
Last updated: July 2026
ClinicMapper is built on the premise that people looking for healthcare information should not have their search history mined, sold, or used against them. This page describes what data we collect, what we don't, and what your choices are.
What we collect
- Standard server logs. Like virtually every website, our servers record the IP address, user agent, and request URL of each visit. These logs are kept for 30 days and used solely for security, debugging, and aggregate traffic analysis.
- Aggregate analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that records page views and referrers without setting tracking cookies or building cross-site profiles.
- Email content you send us. If you email the editorial team, we keep your message in our inbox to track corrections and follow up.
What we do not collect
- We do not require account registration to browse the directory.
- We do not collect, store, or transmit any health information about you, your children, or your family. ClinicMapper is a public directory, not a patient portal.
- We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with hospitals, insurers, lead-generation firms, or third-party brokers.
Advertising
ClinicMapper carries display advertising. Ads on the site are clearly labeled and served through standard advertising networks that may use cookies to deliver relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your browser settings or via industry-standard opt-out tools at the Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance websites.
Cookies
ClinicMapper itself does not set tracking cookies. Third-party advertising and analytics tools embedded on the site may set cookies as described in their own privacy policies. You can disable cookies entirely through your browser preferences without losing access to any feature of the directory.
Children
ClinicMapper's content is intended for adults — typically parents, caregivers, and clinicians researching pediatric facilities. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under 13.
