ClinicMapper

About ClinicMapper

ClinicMapper is an independent, free, ad-supported directory of children's hospitals and pediatric specialty centers across the United States. We exist for one reason: parents looking for pediatric care should be able to find accurate, up-to-date information about the facilities near them — and the referral hubs worth traveling to — without wading through marketing pages, paywalls, or thinly disguised lead-generation forms.

What this site is

A searchable index of 1,446 hospitals across 52 U.S. states and territories, broken down by city and pediatric specialty. Every facility on the site is a real, Medicare-certified hospital pulled from the federal CMS Care Compare dataset. Every page is built from that public data; no entry is invented, paid for, or sponsored.

What this site is not

  • Not medical advice. Nothing on ClinicMapper should be used to diagnose, treat, or rule out any medical condition. If your child needs care, contact a licensed clinician.
  • Not a ranking. We do not rank hospitals or assert that any one facility is "best." Different children need different things from a hospital.
  • Not a referral service. We do not sell leads, take fees from hospitals, or accept payment for placement.
  • Not real-time. Hospital data is refreshed quarterly when CMS publishes a new Care Compare snapshot. Always confirm details directly with the facility.

How we make money

ClinicMapper runs ads — clearly labeled and served through standard ad networks. We chose the ad model specifically because it lets the site stay free, lets us stay independent, and does not create a financial incentive to favor any particular hospital. We do not sell or share user data with hospitals.

Who we are

ClinicMapper is a small editorial project run by a team of writers and engineers with backgrounds in healthcare data, public health communications, and parenting. We are not affiliated with any hospital, hospital system, insurance company, or government agency. We are independent.
